Sweet Sanctuary Baking Co. is a specialty bakery focusing on all natural gourmet cheesecakes and select baked goods inspired by a cherished New York family tradition: baking homemade cheesecake. After moving from New York to Wilmington, North Carolina, I began baking my grandmother’s (pictured to the right) cheesecake recipe as a special treat for family holidays.

This tradition helped maintain a sense of togetherness, even when we couldn’t be physically present with our extended family. Baking this cherished dessert allowed my family and I to preserve the warmth of those family bonds, no matter the distance.
Wanting to share this experience with others, I founded Sweet Sanctuary Baking Co. to bring that same joy and connection to other families.

My journey as a baker began with a simple desire to create something special for my family and friends. Baking has always been a way for me to express my creativity, crafting treats that are delicious, beautiful and made from scratch with premium ingredients.

The joy baking brings to others and the role it plays in celebrating special moments is what I love most. There’s something magical about seeing smiles light up when people taste our treats, knowing that our creations are part of their cherished memories.
the name
The name “Sweet Sanctuary” reflects my vision of a safe, welcoming place that embodies a sense of home. I hope people feel this when they gather to enjoy our sweet treats with loved ones!
the traditions
Some of my fondest baking memories involve spending time with my niece and nephews around the holidays, baking treats and watching Christmas movies together. These moments are the heart of what Sweet Sanctuary is all about.
